b a s c o n c o r p o r a t io n was founded on May 9, 1988 by Antonio Balajadia, Juan Q. Acfalle and Eduardo C. Suarez as a small family-run company on Guam. Hence the acronym BAS (Balajadia, Acfalle, & Suarez). On November 4, 1988 Acfalle withdrew his rights and interest in the company, leaving Balajadia and Suarez amicably. On June 5, 1989 Balajadia withdrew his rights and interests in the company as well, leaving Suarez amicably . b a s c o n c o r p o r a t i o n launched its full operation in May 1988, constructing numerous concrete dwellings using the local workforce. In October of 1988, b a s c o n c o r p o r a t i o n applied for H-2B contract workers to augment the local force due to the lack of experienced construction workers on Guam.
From 1988 to the end of 2014, b a s c o n c o r p o r a t i o n has successfully completed over FORTY THREE MILLION US DOLLARS worth of construction projects for various local government agencies namely, Guam Memorial Hospital, Supreme Court of Guam, Guam Power Authority, Department of Education, Department of Parks and Recreation, Guam Community College, Department of Corrections, Farmers Home Administration, Guam Housing Corporation, and Small Business Administration. Through the years, b a s c o n c o r p o r a t i o n has developed projects for various Financial / Banking Institutions and other Commercial projects for private Establishments of which all contracts undertaken were accomplished on schedule with favorable results.
